High performant way for waking REALLY fast
Precondition: Extremely sleepy.
Solution: Go to a coffee shop, order their strongest coffee, add lots of sugar. Go to the table and take a sip. Spill the coffee on top of the hideously expensive MacBook Pro.
Result: Instant wakefulness.
The MBP seems fine, and I am using it to type this, but that was a big scare.

Hehehehe. Tres amusing write-up of your not-so-amusing misfortune. Losing a coffee and jepordising a MBP in one swoop is totally unlucky. Glad the MBP survived.
I recently started using spaces to allow for quick (and beautiful!) switching between windows and osx desktops. There's a demo vid on my blog. It rocks. You tried it yet?
If you really need wakefulness faster than that, be sure to spill some of that coffee on your lap, the hotter the better. This strategy is most effective if you aren't wearing pants. I've, uh, heard that it's really painful.
