This has an obvious bug, namely, that it outputs the word "laugh!You", which is misspelled (it should be "laff!Hue").

Is it a sign that I'm getting old and boring that I wouldn't put that message in an app?

My reasoning: 'sample' code can often end up in production - and you forget about these little things you left in there as a joke. It's quite embarrassing if/when they're discovered.

Be careful that such things don't make it into production. I wrote a proof of concept app one time many years ago and the client called me one day and said that he tried to click something and it gave an error that read: "Mr T says: I pitty the po' foo' that don't have a valid connection string"

Perhaps you can put that in a language pack. Say, "Condescending (co-CO)".
