Running a Virtual Machine on a dual screen machine

If you run a VM on a 1280X1024 screen, but run the VM itself on 1280X960, you get just enough screen real estate to run the VM without needing full screen to do it. This lets you to run the VM and work on the main computer seemlessly. The loss of vertical real estate isn't that bad.

You can even use the screen that the VM runs on to do normal stuff while it's humming along in the background.
